President's Message

Recently I was asked by one of our alumni if St. Bernard offered a planned- giving program for those who wish to support the work of education at St. Bernard Preparatory School and the ministries of St. Bernard Abbey.  I was quick to confirm that, not only did we have a planned-giving program, but that our Development Office offered a whole range of instruments and programs for the support of St. Bernard.

In these pages, the desire is to describe the programs available through our Development Office for the advancement of St. Bernard today.  I hope that they provide you with the information you need as you consider supporting our monastery and our school.

There is so much creative energy on the campus as we grow and expand.  In our physical plant we have added a new gymnasium and have renovated our Conference and Retreat Center.   In our monastery, new members are joining our community and are increasing our size.  In our school, the students continue to excel and make progress toward their life goals.

Through the Development Office I invite you to be a part of our success.  You will join many other alumni and benefactors who are a part of our Benedictine family as we all work together to carry forward the ministries that God has entrusted to the monks of St. Bernard Abbey.
