The St. Bernard Preparatory School Educational Foundation, Inc., was established to secure the educational ministry of St. Bernard Abbey.  The purpose of this foundation, as given in its charter, is to provide support for St. Bernard Preparatory School.

Contributions made to the SBPS Educational Foundation, Inc. become part of the school's endowment.  The donations that are made to this foundation stay intact with only a portion of the annual earnings spent for the overall needs of the school.  Because it is a 501(c)3 organization, contributions made to this foundation are tax deductible.

A Named Scholarship, established in the name of an individual, is a memorial that benefits the overall program of St. Bernard Prep School.  The goal of a fully funded Named Scholarship is $50,000.  Named Foundation Scholarships fund the general operation of St. Bernard Prep school.  Named Student Scholarships provide funds for the tuition/room-and-board for students with financial need.

A Named Faculty Chair Scholarship perpetuates the highest standards in teaching and supports the departmental programs.  The goal of a fully funded Named Faculty Chair Foundation Scholarship is $100,000.
